About Liz — Raw Milk Mama

I started Raw Milk Mama to share some of what’s happening in our food systems–the good, the bad, and the ugly–but always with a lens to solution and direct action you can take in your life today.

I believe in the freedom to feed our families how we see fit as I have for my family of 5 children for the past 22 years!

I also see the direction that our country is going--no one wants to live in a world where food scarcity is a constant reality. It's time to take back our food systems so they serve us, not monopolistic corporations or greedy shysters.

My articles take deep dives–often from my 20+ years working in the local food system–into our food system and how we fit into it, with a serious solution-oriented angle.

As my audience continues to grow, so does my responsibility to truth and integrity.

Most of what I write about is from real experience–boots on the ground and hands in the dirt. If you find anything I write to be factually inaccurate, please let me know. Open dialogue is a great way to challenge each other so that we are able to grow in our thought processes and change our minds when presented with new facts or opinions.

My hope is that we can grow into a new vision of the future that honors each of our contributions to a vibrant local food system.

This newsletter explores the hidden facets of our food system. We question what we’ve learned. We learn from each other. We welcome anyone who wants to join us to learn about our food systems together.
